There was a feud between the pastor and the choir director of the Hickville Southern church. The first hint of trouble came when the pastor preached on 'dedicating yourselves to the se rvice of God' and the choir director choose to lead 'i shall not be moved'. Trying to believe it was an accident the pastor kept the incident behind. The next sunday, thd pastor preached the topic 'given'. Afterwards the choir squirmed as the director led them in the hymn 'Jesus paid it all'. By this time the pastor was loosing his time and patience. SUNDAY morning came again and the attendance swelled as the tension between the 2 built. his sermon was on the 'sin of gossip'. would you believe the choir director selected the song 'love to tell the story'. There was no turning back the following sunday. THE PASTOR told the congregation that unless something changes he was going to resign.the entire church gasped when the choir director led the song 'why not now'. No wonder the pastor resigned the next week.
